Vodafone. Opening of the tourist route in Cherkasy

Task

To create a unique tourist information route. To form a new perception of urban tourism with the help of modern technology. To draw public attention to tourism in general and to the new technological format of traveling around the city.

 

Describes how to create

At the beginning of June 2018, 6 projects of the tourist route were implemented in 5 cities of Ukraine: Chernivtsi, Poltava, Kherson, Uzhgorod, Lviv. On June 8, 2018, the opening of the 7th project “Krylata Stezhka” took place in Cherkasy.

The route consisted of 14 location (plaques with symbols and QR-code) of historical and cultural sites of the city.

According to the results of a survey of the local population, the gull was chosen as the symbol of the route, which is easily remembered and has a good communication feedback from the public.

 

Results:

On the first day, over 1000 direct online contacts were received, more than 300 transitions to the route site were made.

More than 20 news about the opening of the tourist route were published in print and online media.
