Task
To inform the public about the role of women in society, in particular in the settlement of military conflicts, on an equal footing with men. Help integrate women into the armed forces.
Solution
A study was conducted under the metaphorical title “Invisible Battalion”, because it is about women who are at war, but whose interests and needs are often ignored by the state. The results of the study showed that the problem of gender inequality remains relevant in the armed forces and manifests itself in many aspects.
In the course of the research, the interviewed women were interviewed and a photo session was conducted. Photos and quotes from interviews with military women formed the basis of the Invisible Battalion calendar. It was the calendar with photos of women soldiers and quotes from their interviews that showed Ukrainians the “invisible battalion”, made it “visible”, drew attention to women soldiers and the problem of gender inequality, not only in the armed forces but also in modern Ukraine. in general.
Result
- 3000 copies of calendars were printed and distributed to employees on the territory of the ATO and representatives of the Ukrainian and foreign media market. By demonstrating the fund's assistance in the country's socio-economic development, the fund's image and reputation in society have improved. There was a positive response from the media, with the idea of improving understanding of gender equality in society.
